This is a full-time position, qualified candidates must maintain high quality standards, safety, organization and professionalism. Carpenter lll Position

A Carpenter III is our most skilled carpenter, with an ability to perform at our highest quality standards. They are expected to develop and initiate work methods, and they are able to solve many problems proactively and autonomously. They know when to ask questions. They require limited supervision and they sometimes provide tasks and instruction to other crew members. They are expected to be able to work directly off the architectural plans. They work closely with the Lead Carpenter and Superintendent to help the project maintain time and budget goals. They have considerable understanding of construction, carpentry, and tools and they often actively mentor other carpenters. They support the Superintendent/Foreman and other Carpenters in maintaining the organization and safety of the jobsite.

Carpenter II Position

The Carpenter II position is suited to those carpenters who are able to perform at all levels of carpentry, from frame to finish. A Carpenter II requires basic oral or written instruction, but most of their work can be done autonomously. They are able to follow architectural drawings and can make exact measurements. A Carpenter II has a considerable knowledge of tools and their uses, and is comfortable using most specialty tools. They are proactive in seeking clarification, projecting materials needs, and verifying accuracy. They support the Superintendent/Foreman and other Carpenters in maintaining the organization and safety of the jobsite.

Carpenter l

The Carpenter I position is suited to those who possess good basic carpentry skills. They are eager to learn and are methodical in their approach to each task given to them. A Carpenter I requires significant oral or written instruction, and their work must be monitored by a more advanced Carpenter or a Superintendent/Foreman. They may also require additional instruction about tool usage or building practices. They are able to follow simple drawings and can make precise measurements. A Carpenter I does have a basic knowledge of tools and their uses, but is still learning to use some specialty tools. They are proactive in seeking clarification, instruction, and in verifying accuracy. They support the Superintendent/Foreman and other Carpenters in maintaining the organization and safety of the jobsite.

Laborer Position

Willing and able-bodied, a laborer may be asked to perform tasks ranging from digging ditches to building guard rails and other simple carpentry tasks. They support the Superintendent/Foreman and other Carpenters in maintaining the organization and safety of the jobsite. A MH Construction Laborer has a basic knowledge of and familiarity with carpentry tools, the ability to follow simple instructions, and the willingness to ask questions without hesitation.
