Commercial General Contractor is currently hiring for a Construction Project Engineer. This is a full-time position, qualified candidates must maintain high quality standards, safety, organization and professionalism, as well demonstrate knowledge in estimating, be willing to learn how to manage construction projects from start to finish and assist in managing subcontractor relationships. Candidate must have basic knowledge and understanding of concrete, structural framing/steel, finishes and all other aspects of commercial construction. Qualified candidates will have reliable transportation with clean driving record and willing to travel occasionally.


Job Requirements:

  1. 2+ years of experience commercial construction projects.
  2. Knowledgeable about current construction methods, materials, and regulations
  3. Able to read and utilize plans, blueprints, and specifications
  4. Manage expectations of the subs, the Client, and other vested parties and represent the company on multiple jobs simultaneously
  5. Forecast material/labor needs, and maintain detailed schedule.
  6.  Integrity and professionalism is above reproach and they can be counted on to focus on solutions and dispatch problems
  7. Organized and detail-oriented with unquestionable personal integrity
  8. Able to work well under pressure and keep stress levels to a minimum
  9. Communicate effectively, contributing ideas and opinions that result in improved productivity and efficiency to the job and the company

MH Construction is looking for a full time Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day function of our office. This position participates in a variety of administrative activities such as:

  • Contract management with subcontractors.
  • Data entry of project financial information into Sage 100 software.
  • Entry and tracking of certified payroll.
  • Support project closeout & document management
  • Accounts receivable and bank deposits.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sage 100, or other similar construction cost accounting software, required. Must have knowledge of commonly used administrative and office concepts, practices and procedures . Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical. Must have the ability to request, track, organize and file multiple project forms from numerous sources on a project with accuracy. Preference for candidates who have experience in construction admin.

Position is Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week.

This position will be Monday thru Friday 7-4. Duties will include, but are not limited to: processing invoices and issuing payment, filing, reconcile monthly credit accounts, receive and process payment from project owners, process mail, and payroll.

  • Manage expectations of the subs, the Client, the field staff and other vested parties and represent the company in the field on multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Forecast material/labor needs, verify accuracy of work and compliance with job requirements
  • Integrity and professionalism is above reproach and they can be counted on to focus on solutions and dispatch problems
  • Proven track record of producing quality projects and taking pride in your work
  • Organized and detail-oriented with unquestionable personal integrity
  • Not afraid to tackle unfamiliar tasks
